Look! $25,000 is floating down the river!

A woman out for a morning walk noticed some Japanese 10,000 notes (we'll call it $100, but it's a little less) floating down the river.

She had a choice…fetch her fishing net, jump in, or call the police.

She called the police, who spread a net across the river and caught 268 ichi-man bills, worth about $25K.

The bills had holograms and watermarks which make them appear to be genuine.

Uh…she did the right thing, I suppose, but if it were me, I'd have gotten wet in a hurry.

What would you do if you saw $25k floating in the water?

If no one claims the money, will any of it go to the woman who found it?
