Kyoto University and Waseda University have jointly developed a sparkling liquor made from a variety of wheat that was known to be cultivated in Egypt around 1,000 B.C.

Talk about aged booze?

The two universities worked with Kizakura to make the Blue Nile Low-malt Beer.

A 330-milliliter bottle sells for

It is the second such product created by the joint project.

The brew is now served at the universities' cafeterias.

Considering what happens when people drink….

Is it a good idea for our universities to be making more of the stuff?

How about a study on how to keep fools and booze apart…or to keep people from becoming fools?
