John Berg -Suicide – How NOT Use a Hibachi Grill
John Berg died. He took his own life by using a hibachi grill.
"He died as a result of suicide … from suffocation," the coroner's office said.
"A hibachi grill was used inside his bedroom. It's a fairly common form of suicide where it's put inside an enclosed space and then lit up. The victim succumbed to carbon monoxide fumes."
Hibachi is a Japanese word that means fire (hi) and bowl (bachi).
The term "hibachi" is used to refer to a small cooking stove that is heated with
charcoal. I saw one this morning at the restaurant where I was eating.
Sometimes hibachi is used to refer to an iron hot plate (teppan) as in teppanyaki. Yaki means fried as in yakisoba (fried noodles) or yakiniku (fried meat – Korean style.)
Hibachis were never intended to be used to help someone take their own life.
Sorry to see John Berg go.
Have you ever considered taking your life?
Please don't.

I am deeply sorry to see him go. I really do not like the way he ended his life. Two days ago, when I saw the news of his death: http://www.clevelandleader.com/node/4187 , I was very sorrowful! John Berg was a fine professional actor who was never cast in a rol that would properly showcased his talent and abiltiy. He could have been a star with the right role. That’s the case with many people in Hollwood. But I personally like his performance in “Brothers and Sisters”, I remember him fondly, and I think it really brings back some memories. Here is the movie I found: http://dealstudio.com/searchdeals.php?deal_id=73986 , I think those who want to remember Berg, this one is really a good choice for them. God bless you Berg! I know you are talented!
