Jehovah’s Witnesses Given Blood Infusion Guidelines
A joint panel of five medical academies has compiled a draft proposal for children, 15-years old and younger, of Jehovah Witnesses who are in need of blood infusions.
The JWs won't let blood infusions happen in Japan or anywhere else for that matter.
If their youngun's need blood, they are SOL (sorry, outta luck). They are left to die.
1998 guidelines regarding patients who kids of JWs have the Japan Society of Transfusion Medicine and Cell Therapy insisting that doctors infuse blood into patients who are 12 years old despite their parent's objection. ![]()
The new guidelines have the law concluding refusal to allow a blood infusion constituting abuse of parental authority, because the children do not have sufficient self-determining capability…says a professor of professor at Fukushima Medical University who heads the panel.
When religion gets in the way of law…or is it law in the way of religion here?
I respect the fact that JWs can believe what they want. Never mind, I don't.
There is something wrong with a parent who will not do anything and everything possible to save the life of their child.
On a different note…the JWs had such a bad reputation in Japan for all of their door knocking that they finally decided to have their KIDS knock on doors for them knowing that the Japanese would not be so rude as to slam the door in the face of the little guys.
Let's see…use the kids to spread their propaganda…but not do their utmost to save the little guys' lives.
Yup…something is wrong with the Jehovah Witnesses, I think.

Blood transfusions have been considered very unsafe and can cause many complications during a surgery. There are many other safe, effective alternatives that do not involve blood that Jehovah’s Witnesses employ. Also, the act of allowing children to knock on doors is nothing new, and has been practiced for a long time now. And above all, the biggest issue is their belief in a paradise on earth, so the death of a loved one is only temporary. Just wanted you to get your facts right.

Watchtower blood transfusion ban is anti-life.
The Jehovah’s Witnesses prohibition against “whole” blood transfusions is made up by their sect leaders and NOT from the Bible. It has resulted (by their own admission) in the deaths of thousands of members.
They keep flip-flopping on this deadly dogma to evade wrongful death lawsuits.
Did you know that the leadership of the Jehovah’s Witnesses does allow many of the components of blood so called blood fractions?
Where do they get these “blood fractions”? From the red cross blood donation collections that they revile,as they themselves won’t donate a drop.
This is the issue, the blood ‘ban’ is so esoteric complicated that members will die out of ignorance of what’s permitted.

Dissident JW member speaks out.
The core dogma of the Watchtower organization is that Jesus had his second coming ‘invisibly’ in the year 1914.Their entire doctrinal superstructure is built on this falsehood.
Jehovah’s Witnesses door to door recruitment is by their own admission an ineffective tactic. They have lost membership in all countries with major Internet access because their false doctrines and harmful practices are exposed on the modern information superhighway.
There is good and valid reasons why there is such an outrage against the Watchtower for misleading millions of followers. Many have invested everything in the ‘imminent’ apocalyptic promises of the Jehovah’s Witnesses and have died broken and beaten.

Fractions are pretty easy to come by. Animal blood supplies it.
As for giving back, we’ve inspired many bloodless procedures which save lives of ones allergic to blood.
As for all the Jehovah’s Witness Carnage from refusing blood, google “bloodless hospitals” which have been in existence for decades. They deal with everything including trauma and emergencies. They report no such horrors. Plenty of advantages though. And why not? So sanitary at your weakest moment.
Brainwashing: Our history pretty much shows we have a handle on it.
Let a trees ‘own’ leaves speak for its condition. We have brochures on every subject. Regards.

Acts 15:20 “but to write them to adstain from things polluted by idols and from fornication and from what is strangled and from blood.”
A Witness, a real Witness would know what scriptures supports our views on the blood issue. And now days it’s a non-issue as there are plenty of alternatives. Not to mention the recovery factor is much faster without the use of blood in medicine, blood even though the supply is screened still results in infections and the blood will likely reject foreign blood just like anything else. These are things the medical professional know but often don’t tell the general public. Often realizing the Witness’ are often more informed than most people.

Wow.
The hint of snideness evident in the comments of the witnesses
Only a “real” witness can tell you the truth… as if you’re going to hear objective truth from someone who lets the board of a publishing company tell them what is OK to think and what is not, and who it is OK to talk to and who it is not OK to talk to.
You would betray your family if the Governing Body told you to, and you would sacrifice the lives of your children, based on what these old kooks who spend too much time reading an ancient collection of fairy tales tell you.
How can we respect you?
How can we treat what you say as being the product of a rational person? An objective person?
You’re not objective, you’re one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Circular reasoning is legitimate because circular reasoning is legitimate.
You don’t truly think for yourself anymore, and don’t even realize this fact. In fact, you have accepted that independent thought is wrong, because they tell you so.
You may not be brainwashed, but your thoughts conform to the “mental regulation of Jehovah”, which is remarkably uniform and not arrived at independently – it is a mental state dictated by Governing Body.
The issue isn’t whether you are right that your (sorry, the Governing Body’s) interpretation of a dietary restriction (found in an ancient collection of fairy tales) forbids often life saving medical treatment, but whether it makes logical sense to risk your life or the lives of your children on this interpretation.
The Bible is provably wrong in several areas.
Here are two:
1) The genealogy of Jesus descending from Adam.
Modern tool-using humans have been on this Earth for 10,000 years, which makes Jesus’ genealogy BS.
2) the Flood – Antarctic ice core samples going back millions of years show no global flood. The oceans floors show evidence that there was no global flood. Free standing rock formations, standing for millions of years show there was no global flood. The fossil record and geological strata show there was no global flood.
Two areas that can be scientifically verified as false or exaggerated.
How do you know which parts of the Bible are right and which are wrong? Which are corrupted by endless human transcribing and which are accurate? Which books actually belonged in the Bible and which didn’t? Which books that should have been included were left out? You let a pagan Roman politician, interested in using Christianity to strengthen his hold on power, decide which books should be in the Bible (and an early church eager to present itself as the only channel to God – sound familiar?)decide these issues, and you’ve never questioned them.
The Bible isn’t perfect, and yet your entire reality rests on this being the case. If it’s not perfect, (and I encourage you to actually expose your sheltered minds to the other side of the argument)how can you risk the lives of your children?
Shame on you, mindless sheep.
As a former witness who has researched science and evolution, and came to the conclusion that the creation account is nonsense, that the evidence clearly supports evolution, I have to disagree with your view that we should turn to you for an accurate representation of the facts.
We should turn to you if we want the official party line parroted back at us.
I wouldn’t say that the Witnesses are brainwashed, but many compliance tactics are used – such as viewing former witnesses as “apostates”, which demonizes them and makes them “other”. Such as disfellowshipping those that disagree… with the Governing Body.
Hypnotic language is used at meetings and in the literature, logical fallacies are widespread, manipulative appeals… but then that’s the case with all religions, really… but more so with Jehovah’s Witnesses.
It is a high demand and high control religion, and the threat of losing everyone you care about is a big compliance inducer.
I don’t think you are mentally capable of truly being objective, because you are in that religion, and your objectivity is compromised.
As if you’re only going to get an accurate view of the Witnesses from an indoctrinated individual
Ridiculous. But then your religion is ridiculous.
The whole world is governed by Satan? Demons are real, and everywhere, as they are confined to the Earth?
Everyone who isn’t a witness might be under the influence of demons because only Jehovah’s Witnesses have the Truth (TM), and are protected by holy spirit and angels.
You believe the Garden of Eden is historical, rather than allegorical. Talking snakes, angels with flaming swords, etc.
Oh yeah, and dinosaurs outside of the garden.
It’s a bunch of Dungeons and Dragons nonsense.

Clearly you are not mentally fit to make decisions where your children’s lives may hang in the balance.
You mindlessly parrot what the Society has told you.
Have you independently verified anything they’ve said to you in regards to the blood issue?
Do you really know what doctors think of bloodless surgery? No, you know what the society has told you, and you trust this implicitly.
Fine. trust it. haven’t you ever heard the phrase “trust but verify”?
You have nothing to fear. “Truth fears no questions”.
What happens to children with leukemia? If they are Jehovah’s Witnesses, and their parents aren’t sane and rational enough to compromise when their child’s life is on the line, they die.
As if a “God of love” wouldn’t understand, wouldn’t forgive you.
Yes, bloodless surgery techniques are an improvement, but transfusions still save lives.
They’ve allowed every kind of blood fraction, just about, which is progress.
But the Governing Body is still responsible for the deaths of thousands of Witness children, and has backed off of this mistaken prohibition, but they can’t reverse themselves, as it would unleash a firestorm of wrongful death lawsuits.
With a group of old men that has been wrong the vast majority of the time, why would you risk your life on anything they said?

You need to sto saying ur own opninion about jehova witnesses because they are th only one who really care about the earth. GET UR FATCS STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU TALK ABOUT OTHER RELIGONS. bECAUSE YOU ONLY SAY WHAT YOU HEAR YO NEED TO TREAT THEM, THEN YOU CAN SPEAK

People just don’t understand the faith of Jehovah’s Witnesses. For us, death is a halfway point, according to Jesus, to everlasting life on a paradise earth. Jesus said it. We believe what he said.
The two most important things Jesus stated can be found in The Lord’s Prayer: 1) Sanctify God’s name, which no other religion does, having taken God’s personal name OUT of the Bible and 2) Pray for God’s kingdom to be here ON EARTH. Every child knows this prayer. Yet the world ignores its author for their own demonic and twisted beliefs of a burning afterlife, a rapture, a three-headed God (check the Trinity doctrine) and many other God-dishonoring teachings.
The Bible clearly says in both the Old and New Testament that we are to abstain from blood. Get your facts straight. THAT IS BLOOD ONLY, WHICH INCLUDES BLOOD PRODUCTS. Bloodless medicine is on the rise due to the increase of blood-borne pathogens, so really now… who has the wisdom? JW’s DO NOT, however, ignore their children’s medical needs and will take whatever means necessary to save their lives. As long as it doesn’t include blood.

And regarding blood transfusions saving lives…?
Ask a doctor for a written guarantee that a blood transfusion will save your life and count the seconds it takes for him to take out his pen.
You have a greater chance of dying before that event occurs.

you know FUCK YOU… we do this becuase it is a sin to accept blood infusions. Everybodies blood is differen and unique and in the bible said that we can not accept blood infusion. In ACTS 15:29 says it clearly: keep obstained from things sacrificed o idols and from blood and from things srangled and from fornication. if you carefully keep yourselves from these things you will prosper. good health to you.
_you cannot run away from the words of the bible and looks upon the things you do and say. so watch out. you do not want to be punished you hear…
