In the Tokyo Ginza – Japanese are waiting in line (nothing new) for up to 90 minutes to buy a year-end  jumbo lottery ticket in

Lottery tickets are on sale through Dec 19.

Winners will be announced on Dec 31.

There are 70, count ‘em grand prizes worth Y200 million each. ($2 million).

There are 140 secondary prizes worth Y100 million each ($1 million).

There are also 7,000 special prizes Y1 million each ($10K) each

This year is the jumbo lottery’s 30th anniversary.
