Japanese Worker Goes Beserk Because Gift is Unappreciated

Japanese have two seasons when they give gifts – the middle of summer and the end of the year.

Workers will give their employers gifts to show their appreciation.

A 31-year old man who worked for an online clothing sales company gave his poss a box of jellies for the mid-summer gift as a sign of his gratitude for getting the job.

When he learned that the gift was left unopened under the boss' desk, he

smashed 22 computers.

He has pleaded guilty to obstructing business with force. I'll say.

The man said, "I wish the company president had cared a little more."

Let's see, the president cared enough to give him the job in the first place.

I guess that's not enough.

The boss said he was just too busy to open the gift – finding places to put boneheaded employees to work.

Have you ever given a gift that went unappreciated?
