Japanese STILL Have Money to Throw Away

What's up with all the people throwing money away in Japan?

Seriously.

On Monday a 67-year old woman found an envelope with 10 million yen in cash stuffed in her mailbox. that $80kish.

Why can't people throw money away in my direction. My mailbox will accept wads of cash, too.throw.money.away.japan.jpg

And does a 67-year old woman have time to spend that much money? Well, in Japan they do.

Furthermore, what's with giving it to Japan's inept police

force and then having to wait six months before you can use it?

What's the largest amount of money you have ever found?

I found a nickel in the parking lot at Blockbuster the other day and my wife made me turn it in to the police.

Bummer.
