The Japanese Anti-Trust Regulators, have defended Yahoo Japan and the Google deal between them, as the deal made criticisms to rise from Microsoft.

The criticisms from Microsoft have shocked the Japanese antitrust experts. After the deal is done, at least 90% of the web query traffic would be passed through the US technology giant Google search engine.

This deal has marked a strong blow on Microsoft, as the company was in stiff competition against Google in this sector. The Secretary General of the Japanese Fair Trade Commission, disclosed the deal between the two giant firms, and stated that Yahoo Japan would be using Google’s search engine technology, but would be operating differently.

He also stated that deals like these could lead to a host of criticisms from outside. Yahoo Japan and Google would be using the same technology in providing answers to queries on the net, but would operate differently.
