It’s name is T-34. But you can call him Robocop, Japanese style

The Tmsuk Co in cahoots with security firm Alacom have developed the prototype T-34. Try saying ‘Tmsuk’ with your mouth full.

T-34 Robocop can be controlled by commands from a mobile phone. When told, it will launch a net to trap a bad guy.

T-34 moves at 10kph (6mph). You try running a 10K in one hour. It’s not fast, but try keeping it up.

T-34′s controller sees real time images on a mobile phone.

T-34 moves about on wheels and has sensors to keep track of the guy he is chasing.

Problem – “Security sensors often set off false alarms but examining the location with the robot will lead to more efficient operations,” said a statement from the companies.

“Oops, sorry about trapping you in my net and throwing you to the ground.”

How about we call him Robo-Spider?
