Toshiba Unveils “SpursEngine” Processor – Users Hand Acts as Remote -
The "SpursEngine" processor which is being jointly developed by Toshiba Corp., IBM Corp. and Sony Corp. will allow viewers to stop, skip ahead and give other commands in real time – with their thumbs. Just point the thumb at the screen and the monitor will react.

Hand motions can be picked up from as far as 10 feet away.
The core of the gadget is the Cell/B.E. technology also the brains in Sony's PlayStation 3 game console.
The Cell/B.E. processor can also manipulate 3D images – something useful if you want to see what the back of your head looks like with a new hairstyle…![]()
The laptop camera can put your face on the screen, choose hairstyles, makeup and so on and change your image to 3D.
