Well, it seems LG.Philips LCD, a leading innovator of thin-film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) technology, wants in on the action as well.

The company announced today that it will debut the world’s highest resolution 14.3-inch flexible color E-paper display at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES)

A good friend who know much more than I do, (Actually, all my friends know more than I do) wrote to me –

"These are absolutely the best numbers for a bi-stable display (one that maintains its image even when the power is off) we've ever seen.  Before this, displays have been smaller, mostly grayscale only, and those that are color are only 4096 colors."

Sony? Philips?
