Merry Christmas – Etiquette Checker for Better Dates, Confirms Drunkeness

Japan has a new gadget – the Etiquette Checker.

It's about the size of a mobile phone.

It can check your breath for offensive smells and alcohol level in just 13 seconds.

Offensive smells being totally relative, of course. If you and your date had the same thing to eat – safe. If not, chew gum or suck on mints.

The alcohol level could keep you out of jail, keep your hands off your date unless she invites you to do otherwise, or spur you on to have a few more.

In any event, it's just what people in Japan need…another gadget to carry around.

"Moshi Moshi."

'Your breath stinks."

"Moshi moshi."

"You are drunk as a skunk, too."
