House Food’s Space Curry FOR SALE in Japan
A couple of times a month I make my way to the local Japanese restaurant and order some katsu curry…I love the stuff.
Good news for me…I can now get some space curry…recognized by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
Oh, boy!
So far 29 products – ramen, onigiri have been officially recognized as space food fit for the International Space Station.
House Foods has three curry products certified. The beef curry is going on sale.
The curry has more calcium and a spicer flavor to make up for lost of sense of taste when in space.
Yeah, that happened the last time I was orbiting the earth.
The space curry will be sold for Y500 by mail order from House Foods, at science museums across Japan or you can get it for free at the ISS.
Now, where's my space helmet and gravity suit?
