DoCoMo, KDDI offer Cellphones for TV watching
KDDI and NTT DoCoMo are planning to make TV viewing a standard feature on their mobile phones, not that there is anything worth watching on Japanese TV.
Presently, KDDI offers only three such handsets.
One of KDDI’s new mobile phones will use an organic electroluminescence display, capable of more vivid colors than LCD.
Just how red can red get, I wonder.
AT any rate, KDDI is no longer focusing on just music but also video for their cell phones.![]()
NTT DoCoMO is countering by offering the thinnest flop phone available at 11.4mm (less than 1/2 of an inch).
DoCoMo will also debut a two-screen flip phone with a touch panel instead of buttons.
But, what have the companies done about the batteries? Are they lasting longer?
And have they figured out a way to let little girls update their blogs more easily? Isn’t that what most Japanese are doing on their cell phones?
It seems to me, the phone companies need to come up with a way to have bigger screens, and better word processing on their cell phones…and THEN they would have something everyone wants.
What do you think?
