Japanese Love Dolls Hanging Around

Japanese have a love for dolls. They even have love dolls. But, that’s not the kind you can find hanging around these days.

“Teru teru bozu” dolls can be seen hanging around inns and other institutions.

The dolls are supposed to have magical powers that ward off rain.

They are made from paper, meaning if it did rain, they’d be in trouble.

If you think that is weird, trying telling the Japanese there is nothing to carrying a dead animal foot in your pocket hoping your luck will change.

As things go, I am a pretty lucky person. Unfortunately, all of my luck is bad luck.

Thomas Jefferson once said, “I find that the harder I work, the luckier I am.”

How about you? Do you believe in luck?

Oh, and tell me, what was it you were hoping to find here.
