Japanese Iron Man Does Mt. Fuji

I have completed Iron Man Triathlons before. So, the headline Japanese 'iron man' completes extreme ironing atop Mount Fuji caught my attention.

It didn't take long for me to become disappointed.

This version of the Iron Man consists of taking ironing boards to remote locations and ironing clothing. 

Say what?!

Some 38-year old dude took and ironing board atop Mt. Fuji AND a

55lb generator so he could iron some clothes.

If he really wanted extreme he would come to my house. I have clothes piled as high as Mt. Fuji that would be more difficult to iron than climbing Mt. Everest…which, happens to be his next goal, sans O2.

Extreme Ironing has become an international sport with several world competitions.

Yeah, but do they wear body suits and calculate transition times. Huh?
