Japanese Body Language – 気が向く

Posted by Bill Belew on July 4th, 2010 in Japan | Comments Off

気が向く[きがむく, ki ga muku] be inclinded to do; feel like doing

I heard this phrase a lot, especially when a group of us were trying to figure out what to do, how to spend the afternoon.

Sometimes I'd get the response – I just don't feel like doing such and such.

This was the phrase that was used.

Or, when someones says they will do something when they get around to it, this is the phrase that is used.
