Japan will End Afghan Mission

The potlickers in Japan could not agree on Japan's continuing role in the Afghan mission.

Consequently, it will end.

The anti-terror mission legislation will end this Thursday and no agreement is in sight to continue it.

Japan's new PM Fukuda asked the opposition party to cooperate on the new anti-terrorism bill but no agreement was reached.

The opposition leader – "We need to have principles, which means that unless it's part of UN operations, it would not be possible.afghan.anti-terror.mission.jpg Japan should not be part of the 'American wars.'"

Appeals from German, Pakistan, Afghanistan fell on deaf ears

The feeling is that the lower house of parliament will eventually use its power and majority to override the upper house decision and restart the mission.

Do you think the world's second largest economy should play a role in global security = support the anti-terror campaign in Afghanistan?
