Japan is also considering, more funding for "disbanding of illicit armed groups in the border region between Pakistan and Afghanistan whereAl-Qaeda is said to be increasing its influence."

It is easier for Japan to spend money than to increase the role of its military since Japan renounced the right to wage war as part of its new consitution imposed on the country by the United States after WWII.

Do you think it is time for Japan to amend its constitution?
