Japan Manufacturerr Confidence Climbs

This past week it was reported that business confidence among Japanese manufacturers had improved to a record level.

On the last day of the survey period the Nikkei took a dive to 16% below its peak in April of this year. Even so, manufacturing firms produced their highest indication of confidence since 1998.

Japan is facing the prospects of increased interest rates and there is a scandal in the Bank of Japan.

Still, the business feeling is high, largely due to domestic consumption and capital spending.

Demand for electronic parts is strong – mobile phones and digital home appliances are still in high demand.

Japan is back. Its economy is growing again. And the Japanese have lots of money to spend.

This can be good for anyone with a quality product that might be of interest to the Japanese?
