Japan is Flush with Money and Throwing it Away
Somebody has been anonymously placing the equivalent of tens of thousands of dollars in men's rooms of public buildings across Japan…since last month.
Lots of women have been hanging out in the toilet rooms hoping their turn is coming…oh…and guys have been making much more frequent trips to the john someone has noticed.
Turns out the same sort of thing happened last year when a 290,000 yen was found in July and August, 2006 in the restrooms of two cemeteries.
The money that has been placed has asks the finder to "fund your self-enrichment."![]()
Meanwhile….the police have had to WARN one guy to STOP throwing money from pedestrian bridges.
The guy has thrown 57, 10,000 yen ($82) notes from bridges in
Japan. The money was part of his salary and retirement from his company.
There is no connection to the toilet money…unless you think crazy is the connection for two or more people to give and throw away money.
And what about the people who keep giving it back?
