Sales for McDonald's Corporation in the Asia-Pacific Region, Middle East and Africa increased 12.4% last month because of robust sales in Japan, Australia and China.

Franc, the U.K. and Germany drove Europe's sales of the world's largest fast-food change up 6.1%.

U.S. comparable sales rose 7.4% due to the strength of the company's breakfast business…everybody's back in school and back to work.

Overall, McD's announced that restaurant sales worldwide increased 12.3%.mcdonalds.asia.jpg

I have been to a McDonald's about 2-3 times in the past 25 years. Once when it opened in Japan…to show my kids what a fast-food restaurant from America was like and once when I was in Zhuhai, China on an extended trip and desperate for something familiar tasting. I was disappointed.

The third time…okay, maybe just twice.

When was the last time you went to McDonald's?
