Japan and Russia Look to Intensify Business Dealings
More than 300 business representatives from the Japanese community attended an "Investing in Russia" forum that took place in Tokyo.
China and Japan's economic relationships are said to be more than 30 times more intensive….but by what measure, I don't know.
Still, China and Japan had to start at the ground floor and Russia thinks it is time for them to do the same.
Russia has resources and Japan has technology. Russia has made serious progress in research and Japan has technology.
Russia wants what Japan has…money, technology, innovation. Japan wants what Russia has…oil and those two little islands sticking off the north of Hokkaido.
It will be a long while before Russia and Japan reach the level of cooperation that Japan and China have. But, you have to start somewhere.
