Jackie Chan Makes Japan’s Most Popular List of Foreign Stars

Jackie Chan is the only Asian on Japan's list of most popular world movie stars.

Chan came in eighth on a list that included a tie for first place – France's Alain Delon and very long dead – Audrey Hepburn. (one wonders if the Japanese know she is dead.)

Also on the list were Steve McQueen and Meg Ryan (2nd place -tie).

Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio and Keanu Reeves were also in good company with Jackie Chan.

What might surprise most Americans is that Jackie Chan was picked as an 'outsider.' Americans picked Jackie Chan as one of Japan's most recognizable people.
