Mitsubishi is losing less money.

Izuzu Motors Ltd. is making more.

Toyota Motors is doing business as usual.

General Motors is eating its heart out.

General Motors and Izuzu dissolved a tie-up lat year, after which Toyota Motor Corp and Izuzu formed a capital alliance.izuzu.motors.jpg

Yesterday, Izuzu announced that for the straight year, the truckmaker has made a profit…14% more profit this

quarter than the same quarter last year.

Profits for the April-June quarter were almost $200 million.

Overseas truck sales, particulary in Thailand where there are higher profit margins were credited with helping the company acheive a group sales record of 402.13 billion ($30 billionish).

GM meanwhile…yeah, same-o, same-o. Still restructuring.
