International MANGA Awards

Kan Shinoy is an aspiring manga artist/story teller that I am teaming up with here at RisingSunOfNihon. The title is Ello Bello.

It's still a long way away, but if you can't dream it, you surely can't achieve it.

The first Nobel Prize of Manga was held in Tokyo today…the International MANGA Awards.

Lee Chi Ching of Hong Kong took first place with his work "Sun Zi's Tactics."

Kai (2nd L) of Hong Kong, Benny Wong of Malaysia and Madeleine Rosca of Australia were the three runners up.

All four were awarded a 10-day trip to Japan to meet

with Japanese artists and publishers.

Hmm…I need to call Kan and tell him/her to get ready for next year's competition.
