International Comparisons of Tax Revenue Generated from Income Taxes

Ever wonder how much countries pull into their coffers via tax revenues?

Here’s 8 countries and the percentage of GDP that is generated from income taxes -

1. The United Kingdom – 10.3%taxrevenue.jpg

2. The United States – 8.9%

3. Germany – 7.9%

4. France – 7.4%

5. Japan – 4.7%

6. Korea – 3.4%

7. India - 1.6%

8. China – 1.2%

Looks like, if you really didn’t want to pay income tax, China would be the place to head, eh?

But, then they’ll get you one way or another.
