How to Eat a 15-pound Cheeseburger (pix)

I read today that one in three heart attacks are caused by eating a Western diet. That diet doesn’t include sushi and sashimi, tofu or soy, to be sure.

There is a guy in Uniontown, PA that had he decided to skip one four hour meal, his snack most likely could have fed a village in South East Asia for a week. My goodness.

Brad Sciullo ate a 15-lb cheeseburger with 5 pounds of toppings, bun, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mild banana peppers, a cup each of ketchup, mustard, relish and mayonnaise.

It took him 4 hours and 39 minutes to finish the marathon meal, about the time it takes most recreational runners to cover a foot-race marathon.

Sciullo is just 5′11″ and 180-pound and works as a chef at Denny’s Beer Barrel Pub.

When asked why, ” “I wanted to see if I could,” was all he said.

For doing it in under 5 hours he won $400, three T-shirts and a certificate.

Meanwhile, villages go hungry all over the world.
