How to Cut Off Funding to Crime Syndicates

Japanese police are being urged to do more to cut off the funding that goes to the yakuza, Japan's crime syndication.

The mobsters are getting more sophisticated, if someone dumb enough to be a mobster can do such a thing.

Besides the illegal drug trading, blackmailing, gambling, book making, bid-rigging and dispute settling, the crime groups are experimenting with stock manipulation and insider trading.

Okay, this might be tough…but when they questioned the chimpira, why didn't they just arrest them?

Construction companies are totally crooked

 

and a big source of funding for the yakuza.

How hard can it be to put someone under cover in the construction companies?

In all my years in Japan, I have had on numerous occasions had people point out to me…he's yakuza. The yakuza meets here, owns this store….and so on.

Then, uh, why don't the police just move in?

I still don't know the answer.
