How Not To Use an Umbrella

Posted by Bill Belew on October 9th, 2008 in Japan | No Comments

Japan is not only the land of the Rising Sun, it is the land of umbrellas. There are enough umbrellas sold in Japan to keep the whole world under cover during rain, snow, and sunshine attacks.

Umbrellas are so popular in Japan, that instructions are needed on how to NOT use them and what to NOT use them for. So much so that manner posters have found their way onto train platforms to instruct would be office men-wannabe golfers on the proper use of their wet friends.

What I wish they would post on platforms is instructions on how to improve my golf swing. After a good/bad golf game is key to good business deals in Japan. umbrellapractice.jpg
