How Much Japanese Make
Japanese receive their earnings in several ways. Generally their wages come in some combination of general/monthly wages and bonuses.
Nearly everyone I know got paid by the month. Of course, the first month is the toughest…working and waiting for that first paycheck. But after that, things run like Seiko clockwork. Once a month beats the weekly and bi-weekly paycheck pattern to death. And, I wonder how much money is saved by doing payroll monthly instead of more often.
So, who gets the most money and how much do they get?
Here are the rankings for the nine biggest industry. The yen rate varies but $1 – $100 yen will give you a good idea. You can subtract 10% from your calculation to be more exact if need be.
