Honda Launches Small Fuel Efficient Jet Sales

Honda has a vehicle about the size of an SUV that can go about 1,300 miles between fill-ups.

It is Honda’s advanced twin-engine business jet. The price tag is a cool $3.65 million…pocket change for athletes, entertainers, politicians, geeks….

Honda has teamed up with Piper Aircraft Inc. to start producing the aircrafts in 2010.hondajet.jpg

In a joint venture with General Electric Co., GE Honda Aero Engines will produce the HF120 turbofan engine for the HondaJet and the Freedom.

Spectrum Aeronautical LLC of CA is the company behind the plan.

So, that people like me might consider buying one of these things, the HondaJet will feature a 30-35% increase in fuel efficiency.

No doubt about it, Honda knows fuel efficiency.

The jet will seat seven to eight passengers, including the two pilots. It will seat 4-5 American sized passengers.

Maybe…just maybe I will be able to buy a tire for the thing.

Still…we can dream, can’t we?

What do you think?
