Group Suicides on the Rise
A record 91 people took their own lives in 34 Internet-linked suicide pacts in 2005 in Japan. The number is three times that of 2003.
Japanese young people meet on Internet chat sites, then arrange to meet someplace in Japan to kill themselves.
Today, 5 young people (3 men and 2 women), all in their 20s, were found slumped over in a vehicle parked along side a river.
There was a charcoal stove in the van that appeared to be the cause of the death for all of them.![]()
They were discovered by a passer-by.
Suicide can never be the answer to a problem. My wife says that if a person has enough courage to commit suicide they should have enough courage to live.
I guess a group is what is needed to for the cowards who don't want to live or die.
