Gazprom NG Pipeline Will Reach Japan Sea

Gazprom is Russia's state-controlled gas company. They are also bullies and thieves.

The company says it is planning to lay a pipeline that will carry natural gas from Siberia to the Japan Sea coast…unless it changes its mind

That gas, the company says, will be exported to Japan and other Asia-Pacific markets…unless Russia changes its mind.

The pipeline wil start at gas fields in the Sakha Republic and terminate at

Vladivostok while passing through Khabarovsk…this part is not likely to change.

The amount of gas to be carried will be discussed later. A lot depends on how much the Bear can make and when and at who's expense.

Production at large gas fields in the Sakha Republic will start in 2016.

Of course, by then Russia will have changed its mind at will again, and again, and again.

Or maybe, Gazprom can form a joint company with Japan to build the pipeline, then force the Japanese countries to sell their interest when a convenient time for Russia comes.

Do you think Russia can be trusted to keep promises when it comes to business?
