Gasoline Hits $5.60/gallon

Gasoline prices hit $5.60/gallon….in Japan, in the Tokyo metropolitan area.

Kerosene is about $3.80/gallon.

I don't know if this is true and I never tested it, but I have been told that you can out kerosene into a diesel car's fuel tank and it will run just fine, even better.

So, instead of paying $5+ for gasoline or diesel fuel, buy a diesel car and run it on kerosene instead.

Still, $3.80/gallon is a bit steep.

As for me, I'd pay $10/gallon for gas if I thought it would free us (the US) up from dependence on foreign oil.

We've given the fat cats in the Middle East too much already.

How much are you willing to pay for gasoline to be free of dependence on the Middle East?
