Gaia Online & Sony Ink deal

Gaia Online is a leading online hangout for teens.

Today the company announced that it has completed an agreement with Sony Pictures Television.

Many of Sony's top movie and TV titles will be available on the Gaia Online Cinema. 

The 2.5 million some teens who visit Gaia every month will have access to a combination of:

1. pay-per-view 

2. ad-supported free programming 

Movie titles will include contemporary classics such as 

1. Spider-man, 

2. Gattaca 

3. Ghost Rider and 

television content will include titles from 

1. The Minisode Network, 

2. AXN 

3. Funnybones channels.

Sony Pictures will also be throwing money at Gaia Online in the series B round.
