Fujitsu’s Profits Almost Triple in Latest Quarter
In the recent Jul-Sep quarter, Fujitsu Ltd. said its net profits almost tripled to $119 million on the strength of strong overseas outsourcing and hard disk drive operations.
Last year during the same period the company made only (only?!) $43 million.
The company expects to make $671 million this fiscal year.![]()
Is there a major Japanese company that is NOT making money? Even Sony with all of its troubles is still able to post a profit?
Why is it that Japanese companies can be so profitable when their counterparts in other countries struggle?
Could the word quality have anything to do with it?
