ESL Teacher in Japan Endured Humiliation, Torture

I own an ESL in school in Japan. It is run by a friend. Branches are run by new owners.

I taught English as a Second Language for nearly 20 years and trained many teachers while in Japan.

I never thought to teach the ESL instructors how to fend for their lives.

Times have

changed.

A 22-year old girl was humiliated, tortured and then slain by her student who is still at large.

At large, largely because of Japan's inept police force. Japan can do other detailed things well…but when it comes to solving crimes, chasing bad guys….give it up.

The family has launched an email campaign to try and raise awareness that the crime has NOT been solved.
