Earthquake Cannot Stop Musicians Quest for World’s Longest Concert

More than 900 muscians, aged 6 – 89 took part in a 9-day marathon concert in backwoods Japan, Hikone.

The rules would not permit music to be stopped for more than five minutes or stop playing less than two minutes into a song/

At one point, a musician playing the piano was rocked by a 6.9 magnitude quake…but did NOT stop!

what a deal! The earth was about to swallow her up, but she kept on playing! Absolutely amazing!earthquake.piano.jpg

Have you ever experience a 6.9 earthquake? It is NO small shake, rattle and roll.

The old record of 182 hours was set in Canada five years ago.

The new record is now 204 hours….Thanks to a pianist who would not quit.

My son plays the piano…I need to give him a call.

What excuse do you give to stop doing something?
