Can't decide whether to take the bus or the train?dual-mode-vehicle.jpg

The train will get you nearby but the bus is too slow….what to do?

Japan's Northern main island of Hokkaido launched a dual-mode vehicle that can travel both on tracks and roads.

The trus, burain…not sure what to call it made an 11-kilometer (6.5mile) trek on the Senmo Line of JR Hokkaido, then folded up its steel wheels and taveled on its Bridgestones along the sea of Okhotsk route 244 as a bus.

This kind of vehicle can be very useful in the countryside of Japan.

Do you think there is a market for dual-mode vehicles where you live?
