Denture/Baby Recycling
Well, let's hope people don't get the two boxes mixed up…baby goes in the baby box, old dentures in the teeth box.
An NPO has installed a recycling box for dentures at the government headquarters in Chiba.
The aim is to recycle the gold and silver used in the construction of the choppers and donate proceeds to underprivilged children.
The Japan Denture Recycling Association hopes to donate 250 million yen annually from the project to UNICEF.
If the project goes well, more denture boxes will be placed
at city halls throughout the country.
Meanwhile…far far to the south in Kumamoto…there's the baby recycling box that has already received three contributions.
Remember….if it doesn't have teeth, it goes in the baby box.
If there are teeth but no baby attached, it goes in the used denture box.
Would you like to have your teeth recycled?
