More people with access to the Internet means more crime.

It is indeed a sad fact of life that the more opportunities there are for the bad guys the more activities there are that follow.

Japan had a record number of cyber crimes in the first six months of this year and saddest of all the number of crimes

involving minors paid for sexual services grew 62.7%!cyber.crime.jpg

And those are just the people who were caught.

There were 275 cyber cases involving violations of anti-child prostitution and 110 cases of other crimes victimizing minors. Many were cases where minors hooked up with perverts on social sites.

There were 490 cases of fraud (down 33.2%) and 156 cases of illegal access – using a fake password and identity.

Low-crime Japan….not always.

Meanwhile…adult video screeners in Japan are being censored
