Cosplay is a Japanese butchering or smashing together of two English words – costume and play, or role play.

Goof balls with nothing else to do dress up like characters in a movie, animation or manga.

There is a Japanese animation expo going on in Taipei and a growing number of Taiwanese youth that are interested in Japanese manga, or animation.

And they are dressing up, too.

The Taiwanese call themselves 'cosers.'

And they dress themselves up and gallyvant about.
