Christmas Dinner with Michael Jackson for $3400

Despite being weird as all get out, the Japanese still love Michael Jackson. And this MJ still means big business in the entertainment market in Japan as well.

A Christmas show will be staged in Japan and Michael Jackson is hoped/expected to appear…though it is not confirmed.

Organizers will sell ‘platinum tickets’ for $3,400 per person…and that’s just to sit close to the weirdo.

Kids can sit next to him for free.

Jackson is not expected to sing or walk backwards, just eat with his fans and pose for a few mug shots.

The scary thing is that Japanese will fork out that much to be near him.

I had a student once who wanted to see the sports MJ. She asked me to buy tickets, no matter the cost.

By the time I got the tickets for about $600 each for three of us – her, her daughter and me, and she flew us from Japan to Chicago, spent the night in a first rate hotel, we had spent about $10,000 for one night of basketball.

Oh, and she wanted to see Penny Hardaway who was in Orlando at the time. We flew there, then back to Japan. All told we spent about $20 thousand for two nights of basketball.

$3400 for Michael Jackson….peanuts.  Scary peanuts.
