China Calls Japan Spineless
A spokesman for China's Foreign Ministry called some Japanese lawmakers spineless. Cowards. Schmucks.
The Japanese lawmakers demanded that China remove anti-Japanese photos from Chinese war memorials.
The spokeman responded, "The photographs have kept alive the miserable facts about the history of that period, and the demand to remove them only shows the lack of courage of Japanese lawmakers to break up with Japan's wrongdoings in history."
Japan hurt China severely early last century and China doesn't
want to forget AND
they would like the Japanese to have a bit more vivid memory as well…and rightfully so. The Japanese killed more Chinese one on one, than they (Japanese) lost in both nuclear bomb explosions.
The spokesman went on, "Keeping the memory of the history is not to continue the hatred, but to prevent tragedies from happening again and create a bright future."
At some point, however, it is time to move on.
Apparently, not yet.
Do you think Japan has owned up to its atrocities to China and Korea?
