Child-Robot On Display in Japan

Japan has Kansei, the robot with 37 expressions.

Now there is CB2, the child-robot with a biomimetic body.

The robot is 4.3 feet tall and weighs about 73lbs and was developed by JST ERATO Asada Synergistic Intelligence Project.

It can change facial expressions and rock back and forth.child.robot.jpg

It can move smoothly with it 56 actuators in place of muscle. It has 197 sensors for touch, small cameras for its eyes and an audio censor.

The little cyborg can also speak with its artificial vocal cord.

I wonder if it can say "yuck!"
