Bridgestone Tire Races Off with Formula One Checkered Flag

Not only does Japan make the best cars, its tires are number one as well.

Bridgestone Tire will be the sole supplier to:

1. Formula One Racing

and

2. IndyCar Series

Henry and Harvey are surely rolling over in their graves.

Frances' Michelin Tires withdrew from supplying cars to Formula One teams leaving Bridgestong Corp. as the sole supplier for all 11 teams and their 22 vehicles.

Bridgestone will also be the sole supplier for the IndyCar series.

Bridgestone will also increase from six vehicles raced by three teams to 10 vehicles raced by five teams in the MotoGP motorcycle races.

Bridgestone's philosophy – "Our broad participation in the motor sports world will help us improve technology for ordinary tires."

And those hundreds of thousand motor sports fans will get their eyes full of Bridgestone advertisements, too!
