I heard at Blogworld Expo that Technorati is saying that about 1/3 of the 110 million blogs they are tracking are in Japanese.

What a deal.

I am hanging out at the BlogWorld Expo in Las Vegas and one of the speakers said that there are 110 million blogs being tracked by Technorati.

One third of them are in English, one third are in Japanese and the other one third is every other language.

"I don't know why there are so many Japanese blogs," he said.

Nobody else knew either.

I know…Japanese can and do blog from anywhere, everywhere, on their cell phones.

Think about it, one third of 110 million is 36 million = just under one third of the entire Japanese population.

In my car, at the bar, on the train, in the rain, on a bus, we can cuss…Japanese blog from everywhere. That's why.

Do you have a blog?
