Black Cars Catching Up with White Cars

So…what's the most popular color for cars in Japan?

Red, blue, yellow and other rainbow colors, combined, make up 21% of cars in Japan.

Number two is a non color – black – at 27%.

Number one is all the colors – white – 28%.

Gulliver International Co. Japan's largest used-car buyer conducted a survey of the 1.34 million cars it handled between 2000-2006 and determined by the year theyjapanese.white.car.jpg were made and their colors that black is about to catch up and maybe even overtake white as the most popular color for a car for Japanese.

White cars have long been considered

the color of choice in Japan.

Gulliver predicts that black cars will continue to grow in popularity in 2007 and 2008.

Either that, or the same black and white used-cars will continue to be passed around.

Which do you prefer – a white car or a black car?

And I also wonder…does Toyota Motors care?
