Buy what you want, when you want, wherever you want…NOW!
Young techno-savvy women with cell phones used for shopping and a shop-on-the-go mindset is fueling the trend.
The e-commerce market in Japan is valued at roughly Y271.5 billion ($2.3 billion), 12 times what it was five years ago.
Japan's"F1" group – 20-34 year-old women are the most competent at using their cell-phones to shop.
The shop-till-you-droppers can buy before they get to a store by looking at
high-speed image displays AND buy on the train on their way home if they change their minds.
Net-based direct marketers are working overtime to make their mobile shops more visually appealing = attractive to the attractive.
